On July 19, 2004, the Macomb Township Michigan Recreation Center opened its doors. This state of the art 57,000 square foot facility offers a gymnasium, aerobics, complete workout area, running track, 2 pools (with water slide, a lazy river and other water features), soft play indoor play scape, child watch room, teen game room and party room. Men & woman's locker & shower rooms, Family changing cabanas. The Recreation Center will be the hub of recreational activity for Macomb Township residents for many years to come.
